Email and SMS campaigns for a garage door company
Your past customers are the best new-door prospects you have. They already trust you, and about one in five doors you have repaired will be replaced within a few years. Most garage door companies have three years of names and numbers in an invoicing system and have never sent them anything. Only 22.2% of listings even show a public email, which says how little this trade uses the channel.
The campaigns that work are seasonal and specific: a tune-up offer in October, a "cold snap this week, springs break in the cold" text the day the forecast turns, a new-door push with before-and-after photos and a financing line in March, and a one-year check-in after every install. Two to four sends a quarter, not a weekly newsletter.
After two weeks, working means the list cleaned and loaded, the first seasonal send out, replies routed to the office, and a count of the tune-ups or measures it booked.
